A Nightmare for Obama

The map illustrates the ways in which the new American presidential administration will have to strike up relationships with Europe. The most worrying element is the increasing Russian influence in the "old continent" because of its role as major gas supplier to the European countries. Putin and Medvedev are elaborating a plan called "Russia Project" aiming to reintegrate some territories in the Russian Federation and the creation of a Russian Union. Russia can rely on a "Friendly Club" led by Germany. In order to face this strategical threat, the United States can rely for support on the enemies of EuRussia notably Great Britain and some of the baltic nations.

Russia is no threat to the

Russia is no threat to the West, it is high time you get it. It is a dying power whose population declines as we speak, half of the yearly registered casualties are due to alcohol, death rates are higher than in any other civilized country (I seem to remember they stand around 14 per 1,000 people).العاب بنات Russia may have gigantic oil resources as well as coal and gas reserves but its dwindling demographic force and its dilapidated ordnance are uncontrovertible. Besides, Russia is as threatened by the scourge of Islam as we are, for if you look at the births map in Russia منتدى , you will see the ones breeding are not ethnic Russians. For all its regrettable authoritarianism it could be a prospective ally in a near future, even the U.S. will come to that conclusion one day.

Never before had one

Never before had one witnessed such an accomplished use of manipulation, propaganda, imagery and public relations wizardry to sell the public a man who was to take the baton from Bush and run with it in the race to destroy the economy, the rights of the people and help birth a nation totally controlled by those who have always lurked in the shadows of power. “Change” was promised and was delivered in the form of a deepening of the already Dystopic nightmare.

Even if there were some reality in that map, I do not believe Sweden would take up arms against a renewed USSR. Furthermore, I have cause to think neither France nor Italy would support Russia against the U.S., as for Hungary, I have some difficulty to imagine it could be drawn to Russia considering the course of its recent history.

Great Britain

What is Great Britain? I think you mean the United Kingdom and while the majority of people would not view Russia as an ally, some of our Labour politicians may have different views and they haver listened to the plebs. Having said that, I go along with the previous two comments, pie in the sky analysis, but anything's possible of course. There is a far bigger threat to Russia and Europe at the moment and they control a lot of oil.

Sweden?

The suggestion that Sweden will stand on principle in defiance of Russia (or any military power) is laughable.

Russia and friends

There are quite a few countries on this map which are considered "friends and/or partners" which will not agree at all.
Sorry, the basic thought for this is interesting but the text is non-existant and the map has big flaws.
