Chresten Anderson is the president and founder of the Copenhagen Institute, the leading free market think tank in Denmark. He holds a MA, as well as a BA in political science from the University of Copenhagen, and has studied at the University of Limerick. In 2001 and 2002 he worked for the Cato Institute in Washington DC before deciding to move back to Denmark to start the first free market think tank in Denmark. The Copenhagen Institute (formerly MarkedsCentret) opened its doors on August 1st 2003. He has previously lived outside Atlanta in Georgia, US.Chresten Anderson has written for TechCentralStation, Boston Globe as well as all major Danish newspapers, he is frequently cited in Danish media. He has previously been an editor for the website Newsbalance. He lives outside of Copenhagen together with his American wife and their 3 children.
