Tintin in Russia

In its latest issue the glossy Belgian monthly “Royals” publishes a report of the five-day visit to Russia of a Belgian trade mission, accompanied by the Belgian Crown Prince Philip and his wife Princess Mathilde. The visit has been a huge success, the magazine writes. “Thanks to the presence of Princess Mathilde there was a lot of interest from the Russian press for the Belgian delegation. The Princess charmed everyone with her radiant smile and sincere attention. There was much praise in the Russian media for her natural grace and her stylish clothes. […] Prince Philip was a brilliant ambassador of the interests of Belgian enterprises. In Moscow and St. Petersburg the Prince talked extensively with the Russian entrepreneurs accompanying President Putin.”

The only thing wrong with the account in the magazine is that the visit of the Belgian royals has… yet to begin. The five-day trip only starts… tomorrow.
