The ambition of countries that previously attempted to achieve unity by military conquest, is now masquerading as pro-USE. The [European] Union is the instrument through which what once failed militarily might now be achieved politically. Led by France and assisted by Schröder’s Germany, the Union should be governed by her leading entities, while the small countries, as Chirac suggested in a moment of apolitical honesty, “keep their mouth shut.” It is easy to see why Britain, depicted propagandistically, as the US’ Trojan horse, does not fit.
