A little vigniette on the behaviour of the dock workers who were demonstrating in Strasburg on Monday. My landlady here is a teacher and on Monday she was taking her class of thirty 11 years olds to a swimming lesson, all crocodiling down the street, topped and tailed by a teacher. The school and pool are well over a mile away from the European Parliament and are in no way on the route of the demonstration.

Whilst on route mob of pissed dockers started throwing fireworks at them and hit some of the children with firecrackers. The children were forced back to their school in hysterics.
