Commissioner Speaks Tough: Illegal Is Illegal
From the desk of The Brussels Journal on Sun, 2007-05-27 07:23
A quote from EU home affairs commissioner Franco Frattini at EUobserver, 25 May 2007
In terms of illegal immigrants currently present [in the EU territory], we have to encourage them to return and follow procedures for legal entrance. This can be co-funded via European projects. […] Illegal [immigrants] must remain illegal. You cannot make something illegal legal.
On Demographic 'Changes' in the United States

Though the decline of White Americans' share of the American population correlates with illegal immigration by non-Whites, Latin Americans (Mestizo and Amerindian) in particular, expanding immigration and border control, and repatriating illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States will not prevent this demographic and electoral transformation. Firstly, a "tough stance" on illegal immigration will result in incredible pressure from Hispanic Americans, other minority groups, illegal aliens (demonstrations and riots) and various foreign governments e.g. Mexico. This response has and will continue to influence policymakers in Washington. Secondly, the violent and non-violent resistance expected during the implementation of immigration reform will make enforcement of even existing legislation impossible for authorities given current constitutional constraints and prevailing norms. Thirdly, if the United States is willing to enforce immigration and border control it will result in escalating racial violence, given that such moves would be viewed as an attempt to delay the inevitable loss of White self-determination in America. Because the masses tend to be fickle and pendulum-like (as opposed to using foresight and moving cautiously, gradually and with control), if Americans (i.e. White Americans) react to their colonization, chances are they will not stop at preventing future waves of colonizers, but also "deal with" those currently in America.
Enforcement

Yitzhak, local law enforcement authorities are already authorized to check on immigration status. They've always been allowed to check. They're responsible for all law enforcement in their area of responsibility. It's the local governments who have changed the policies.
Need I say what the philosophy is of those who are running these local governments?
Immigration Problem

Immigration problem in US is coz of its generous welcoming Immigration policies. If US really wants to get ride of Immigration problem it’s not impossible.
A) Deployment of National guards on Southern Border.
B) Any employers get caught hiring illegal’s should be punished with Jail time.
C) Cancel citizenship of anchor babies change citizenship law.
D) Eliminate catch and release policy absolutely.
E) Local law enforcement officers must be authorized to check immigration status of anyone.
F) No more free ride of illegal’s present in country(no drivers license, no job, no bank account, no credit cards etc)
A massive immigration enforcement drive through out 50 states with local police coordination. I think ya’ll remember when ICE raided couple of business and arrested more then 100 illegal’s whole main stream media was up in arms about it. Which proves that enforcement works perfectly.

"George Bush has the only intelligent immigration plan offered"
This plan is nothing more then "amnesty" for 12 plus million illegals.. who are a big drain on our social system..
The only common sense approach is to "re-enforce" the border security and fine these employers who are employing illegals..
George Bush has the only

George Bush has the only intelligent immigration plan offered. Meanwhile Spain keeps offering amnesties and we all know they will be in northern europe collecting fat welfare checks very quickly.
Common Sense

Two sentences are not much to go by. But, it would appear - based on these two sentences - that Frattini has more common sense ON THIS SUBJECT than most of Europe's politicians, and also more common sense than George Bush, John McCain and of course the majority of American Democrats with a capital D.
The toleration of large-scale lawlessness can only feed (or lead to)...more lawlessness in the future.
