Hans Sennholz, RIP

A quote from Lew Rockwell's obituary of Hans Sennholz (1922-2007), 28 June 2007

[His] book How Can Europe Survive, published in 1955, remains the best and most complete critique of European political union ever written. Sennholz demonstrated, some fifty years before others even cared, that political union under the interventionist-welfare state was only a prescription for chaos and bureaucrat rule. True union, he demonstrated, comes from free trade and decentralized states that do not attempt to plan their economies.

Re: logicalman

I'm not worried,I'm curious. And if I'm curious,I'm even more curious to know why Muslims aren't as curious as I am.

Dhimminomics (3) : An Attempt to Explain the Inexplicable

There are 12 conditions laid down for the khalifah, 6 which are agreed upon by the classical scholars and 6 which are disputed.

The 6 conditions of the khalifah which are agreed upon:

(must be) Muslim,mature,free,male,sane and trustworthy.

The 6 disputed conditions / preferable conditions:

Brave,mujtahid (scholarly),experienced,capable,and

INFALLIBLE. This condition is only adopted by the Shi'a as they say that Allah (swt) is al-Lateef i.e. kind to the ummah and will save the ummah by INFALLIBLE PEOPLE AFTER THE PROPHET (saw), even though there is consensus that ONLY THE PROPHETS WERE INFALLIBLE.

[Emphasis added].

Questions which may have crossed the mind of other readers here might include the following:

1 Who would be responsible for organising  the global khaleefah election (a Sunni or a Shi'a)?

2 Who would monitor it?

3 Who would monitor the monitors?

4 How many candidates would there be and who would draw up the final

  candidate list?

5 Would the candidates be Sunni or Shi'a, Arab or non-Arab (Iranian or Saudi,Pakistani or Turk etc.,)?

6 Would the supporters of the losing candidates accept the verdict of the

   ummah (global electorate)?

Caliphate

I wouldn't worry about who gets elected caliph nowaday.

If a Sunni were elected caliph, Shiites will seek to kill him

Vice versa, if a Shiite were elected, Sunnis will seek to kill him.

Problem solved.

Dhimminomics (2) : Africa's First Boomtown Rat

Under Islam Africa sent food to relieve famine in Madina. The Khaleefah- 'Umar bin al-Khattab sent the following letter to Amr bin al-A'as,the governor of Egypt regarding the means of transporting the supplies:

"Arrange to dig the canal from the river Nile up to the sea, even if it means you have to spend the entire Bait al Mal (treasury) of Egypt in the undertaking".

Keywords: famine in Madina;entire Bait al Mal (treasury) of Egypt.

Muslim Sensitivity Traning 101

From South Park.  In the muslim world there is:

1)  No sex before marriage

2)  No jacking off

3)  And where do muslims live?  Sand, right.

3)  OK, so imagine yourself in their position, it's Friday night, you can't get laid and you can't jack it either.  You probably have sand in your eyes and in the crack of your ass, and some guy comes along from a place where people ARE getting laid and makes fun of your Prophet!  Damn this gets me mad just thinking about it....

Sensitive training...

To complement Amsterdamsky, Youtube has a video on what some muslims do about their sex need: do it with a donkey, caught on tape at night from a window.

The donkey didn't seem to mind...

Dhimminomics for Dummies

Excerpted from a circular issued by the now banned and disbanded(?) [A rose by any other name...] Islamist group, Al- Muhajiroun:

Begin Quote:

Islam has a unique system of taxation where there is no taxation of the poor. There are only three types of regular taxes levied from those who are able to pay:

1) Jizzya:- This is a tax that is a tax on mature sane non-Muslim citizens of the Islamic state, who is able to pay it.No non-Muslim female, child,or clergyman is obliged to pay this tax. This is much less than any tax that non-Muslims pay in any Capitalist state.

2) Ushr:- Is a tax levied on unconquered land under the juristiction of the state,at a rate of one tenth of the produce  if the land  is irrigated by rain,or one twentieth if it is artificially irrigated.

3) Kharaj:- Is a tax levied on conquered land, whose rate is fixed by the Khaleefah.

The Khaleefah, 'Umar bin Abdul Aziz at one stage could not find a single poor person to give Zakat to during his rule,as a result of Islam's economic system.

End quote.

Keywords: Regular taxes; non-Muslim; Clergymen; (anti) Capitalist; unconquered land; fixed by the Khaleefah; not a single poor person to be found.

Any takers?

Dhimminomics

"The Khaleefah, 'Umar bin Abdul Aziz at one stage could not find a single poor person to give Zakat to during his rule,as a result of Islam's economic system."

How to explain the fact that, not considering oil revenues, all GDP of the 10 richest muslim countries combined is smaller than Norway's GDP, a country with 5 million people.

In many muslim countries, many males are seen doing nothing all day long, besides perhaps smoking some stuff and plotting the next jihad bombing.

Not having their women working loses them 50% of production capacity.

Infrastructure role for government

The only role in the economy for government would be orphan infrastrure areas like power transmission lines, waterworks, and highways and trains.  Any area where a private company can not operate without having a monopoly should be run or heavily regulated by the government.

"True union...

...comes from free trade and decentralized states that do not attempt to plan their economies."

'Nuff said.
