re: Kristof.  I don't think I could ever bring myself to vote for another Democrat.  Besides, I vote in California so under the electoral process I will probably end up voter for Hillary so my vote is a throw away even if they do count my absentee ballot.  I normally vote Libertarian so they get more money.

Can't vote for him. 

Shame because I agree with him on every other issue.

Even if he dodges it and makes it a states rights issue the states will make it criminal to move a minor across state borders for the purpose of an abortion. Fundies are no better than muslims. Even if Ron Paul is not a fundie he is playing to them. Giuliani still has my vote.

Giuliani ??? and you supposedly value privacy, freedom and civil liberties? hello? You don't want your country to be ruled by the former ruler of NYC. You'll regret it. And the creep is a passionate ferret hater too. And don't forget he fought to keep NYC a haven for illegal immigrants.

but I guess you would rather vote for Hilary than for Ron Paul no matter how good he is on all the other issues. You need to get over your abortion obsession. If a state becomes oppressive you'll have the possibility of voting with your feet and move to another state. I don't think Californian voters will ever criminalize abortion.



Do you consider 1960s America a christian fundamentalist tyranny ? Back then free for all abortions were forbidden in most states.


Ron Paul will not do that

Where did you read that Ron Paul is for the criminalization of abortion ? He said he's against any public funding of abortions so under President Paul no federal money will go to fund abortions but it will not be legally forbidden at the federal level because he will leave the decision to the states. 


If a state wants to subsidize abortion it will be free to do so, if a state wants to criminalize abortion same thing.
