Lastly, not only is the British "identity" as artificial as the Belgian one - not because it is a top-down affair but because it attempts to override existing and strong national identities - but if it is reduced to being a "choice" rather than a family that one is born into, it consists then merely of a particular bundle of rights and benefits, which incidentally is why Britain has such immigration problems. Bring back jus sanguinis!

If you have been following my non debate with Amsterdamsky on this issue,you'll have realized by now that this "lunatic fringe" (your words), is hardly confined to a small group of Arabs located somewhere in the Middle East.And to be fair to those Arabs,at least THEY have the balls to say this openly and to tell us WHY they feel that way.Others clearly do not.

Black assimilation? There is a massively disproportionate amount of black crime in the UK, similar to the USA. In addition, Asians are under-represented in prison and within this group, Hindus and Sikhs are under-represented compared to Muslims. There are very few Chinese in prison.

Mixed race families? In London I have never once seen an Asian man with a black woman and virtually never an Asian woman with a black man. Nearly all mixed-race couples are black male/white female with the occasional reverse.

I would hazard a guess that the picture painted by the commenters below are based more on MSM reports than personal experience.

State of Israel is reality weather people believe “Israel’s right to exist” or not doesn’t make any difference at all. Arabs had tried for decades to wipe us off the map but we are still standing strong. After living in fantasy world now they starting to accept reality. Lunatic fringe in Arab world would never accept State of Israel no matter what but good thing is Pro-Israel people in Arab world are starting to specking up.

I was at the SIOE site reading the comments on the London Demonstration and someone posted an anti Catholic rant and warned that they shouldn't "involve" themselves with Papacy in the fight against Islam.

I took umbrage and called him a bigot and a whole bunch of commenters immediately assumed I was a Muslim practicing taqqiya. 

When I tried to defend myself the siteowner deleted my comments in what appears to be an attempt to maintain the illusion that I am indeed a Muslim practicing taqqiya.

Does anyone know, is SIOE officially anti Catholic and do they not permit Catholics to participate?  I'm beginning to think this is the case.

I would advise those Catholics who were thinking about participating in the London Demo to think twice. These people hate Catholics as much as they hate Muslims.

I am not from the UK but I have been shocked by how much better integrated UK blacks seem to be than US or French blacks thats all.  My other observation is that muslims don't seem to integrate at all and segregate themselves into their own neighborhoods.  The fact that the subway bombings were from second generation muslims some married to native brits certainly would seem to support this.

I agree Quijybo.  UK blacks seem pretty well integrated compared to French or US blacks.  The muslims are the problem.

When a large portion of the "black" population is half white, these numbers do not mean as much as they appear to. The greatest threat is still from groups who are not assimilated into the culture. Race is a secondary consideration.
