Dispatch from the Eurabian Front: Riots in Amsterdam and Brussels

Europe’s no-go zones or SUAs (“sensitive urban areas”) are multiplying. These are areas where the police no longer dares to venture and where Islamists hold sway. Every night since the beginning of last week, immigrant youths have been torching cars and clashing with police in Amsterdam’s Slotervaart district. The incidents started on Oct. 14 when a policewoman shot dead Bilal Bajaka, a 22-year old ethnic Moroccan, whilst he was stabbing her and a colleague with a knife. The officers were stabbed in the breast, face, neck and back. Surgeons could only narrowly save their lives.

Since the incident, Slotervaart has seen rioting almost every night. The Amsterdam Moroccans are  “shocked” because one of them has been killed by an infidel woman. According to his family, Bilal Bajaka was mentally deranged and had a suicide obsession. Ahmed Marcouch, the Moroccan-born Socialist mayor of Slotervaart, criticized the Dutch authorities for failing to provide adequate health care for Bajaka’s mental problems.

Bilal Bajaka was, however, a personal friend of Mohammed Bouyeri, the Jihadist who ritually slaughtered the Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh in 2004. Bilal’s attack on the two police officers came exactly two years after the arrest of his brother, Abdullah Bajaka, the leader of an alleged plot to blow up an El-Al Boeing at Amsterdam airport. Bilal’s family background is not at all deprived. One of his sisters is a medical doctor, another sister is a Dutch judge.

For ten days now, the situation in Amsterdam’s immigrant neighbourhoods has been tense. Senior police officers compare the current situation in Amsterdam to the 2005 Ramadan riots in Paris. Media outside the Netherlands, however, hardly mention the riots, which aim to drive the police from Slotervaart and turn the neighborhood into a new no-go area – yet another pocket of Eurabia on Europe’s soil.

Similar events are currently taking place in Brussels, the capital of neighbouring Belgium and of the EU. Last Sunday, demonstrating Turkish youths ransacked an Armenian restaurant in the Sint-Joost-ten-Node borough. According to the owner the police was present at the scene but did not interfere while his establishment was being demolished. The Armenian had to flee for his life.

Another man who had to run for his life was the Belgian journalist Mehmet Koksal, an ethnic Turk. He was attacked around 11 pm on Sunday evening by a group of some twenty Turkish youths in front of the American embassy in Brussels, a few yards from the Belgian parliament building. The Parliament and the US Embassy are less than one kilometer from Sint-Joost-ten-Node. Koksal fled to a nearby police car, but a female police officer refused to let him into the car, whereupon the youths savagely beat him up. Fearing that they were about to lynch him, the police officer changed her attitude and allowed the journalist to seek refuge in the police car.

Koksal told the press today that he is not going to press charges against the police for failing to help him. “The police woman was more afraid than I was and ultimately the police came to my rescue,” he said.

It sounds to me like the Dutch are not attending to the mental health
problems of a lot of people including all of those rioting Muslim
punks.  Anyone that believes a person being stabbed to death should not
strike out in self-defense is deeply delusional. The reason that the
Dutch will not use deadly force against rioters?  Pure and simple:
Islamophobia.  They are afraid that if they stand up to the rioters
they may have to engage real Islamic anger later on.  At least now all
they have is a few burning cars and an occasional stabbing victim.  By
walking as best they can along that difficult line of appeasement they
hope they may be to be able to dodge catastrophic bombings and
terrorism down the road. (Of course, they don't seem to realize or care
that there isn't a sacrifice much greater than the loss of their own
culture.)

Burmese way.... #2

@ KA

Your response may be "facetious" but it conveniently helps to keep European heads in the sand.  As you know (or at least should know), if Germans hold a more favorable view of China than of the United States, it has absolutely nothing to do with "strong governments" and "armor".  Indeed, the caricature of Texas sheriffs plays very well in Germany.  No, Germans hold their nonsensical position because of a deep inferiority complex vis-a-vis the US, but not vis-a-vis China.   It is always more fun to keep one's head in the sand concerning unpleasant realities (in China and elsewhere), rather than face them.   And a lack of concern for individual freedom (as shown in these opinion polls) is usually a good indicator of what's coming in one's own society (again).  That applies to Germany, as much as anywhere else.

The Burmese Way to Policing

It is little surprise that a majority of Germans hold a more favorable view of China than the United States. With Muslims and Africans running amok, it must be refreshing to see strong governments dust off the reserve armor for domestic consumption. Perhaps the Leopards are needed in Muenchen and Duesseldorf more than Kabul? Moreover, just as the PLA used rural personnel in Tianamen Square and the SED manned the Wall with Russians, I am certain that East Germany's young unemployed men would take on the mission with enthusiasm. After all, it was common Wehrmacht practice if a unit came under sniper fire in an occupied urban area, to rush a team into the ground floor of the offending structure, plant dynamite, and bring it down. Often these turned out to be the wrong buildings, but through trial and error the poor resistance fighter (or terrorist) would be brought down, literally.

Of course this response is facetious. On the other hand, European Muslims might benefit from some collective punishment and callousness on the part of the military and police. Perhaps it is time to put a little Apartheid in their world. After all, they put jihad in ours.

Broken Windows Theory

One of the Policing Theories which was responsible for the major turn around in New York City was "The Broken Window Theory".  The way it worked was (NY) Police stopped ignoring the little things (i.e the 'broken windows'), this lead to actually getting a handle on the rampant crime in NYC.

If a US cop sees a crime, they intervene.  (If neccesary, they can call lots of backup).   This creates a sense of confidence in the general populace.  The Dutch police seem to have the attidue of "Don't escalate the situation", arrest the person later. (Based on their public statements "We know who did it").  This results in everyone seeing the perpatrator as 'getting away with it', when the crime is done.  This affects the perceptions of 2 groups:

The public, who know see the police as impotent

    • They are less likely to call for help
    • They are less likely to get involved and take ownership of their environment
    • More likely to bend to the intimidation of the criminals

Other delinquents who also see the police as impotent

    • They are now more willing to engage in criminal activity.  (Either infront of the police, or behind their back)

(This is pretty much the opposite of the "Broken Windows Approach").

This is descirbed in the book "The Tipping Point"

Turks

So sad.  When I lived in Frankfurt in the 70's, you didn't have to worry much about safety.  Germany was pretty much German.

Turks

@ Mystery Meat
I lived in Turkey for 13 months from 1990 to 1991, and the people were very warm and friendly. I made many close friends. I then lived in Germany from 2002 to 2003, and segments of the Turkish population there were far more radical than back in the home country. I still made some Turkish friends in Germany, and they were the ones who warned me about some Islamist elements in the area. It is certainly true that I felt safer walking through the poorest neighborhoods of Istanbul, than I did in certain areas of Frankfurt. When talking about the demeanor of Turkish people, things could go either way.

@bollekeboy
Turks in Turkey live in an islamic country and a dominant islamic social culture, so they don't feel te need to establish the superiority of islam. In Europe there isn't a dominant position of islam and thats one of the reasons for their agression, intimidation and hostility.

And don't forget that you were a foreigner in Turkey. You would talk differently if you were an indiginious Christian (Greek, Aramean, Armenian) living in Turkey as a kind of dhimmi. Just read the recent reports of "Jubilee Campains Nederland" on Turkey.

Turkish youth

"Another man who had to run for his life was the Belgian journalist Mehmet Koksal, an ethnic Turk. He was attacked around 11 pm on Sunday evening by a group of some twenty Turkish youths..."

Turkish muslims are known to be moderate, unlike some of their co-religionist arab brethern. I seriously doubt that Turks were involved in this attack. This attack was probably committed by Party for Freedom members, disguised as turks. The police must apologize for blaming turks for this unfortunate incident.

No need to worry

This is all a misunderstanding. Bilal mistakenly thought the policewoman was his sister. He believed his actions were a totally justified honor killing. We must respect his culture and not condemn him for these understandable actions.

Rioting

It sounds to me like the Dutch are not attending to the mental health problems of a lot of people including all of those rioting Muslim punks.  Anyone that believes a person being stabbed to death should not strike out in self-defense is deeply delusional.

I agree with FFLegal , stop

I agree with FFLegal , stop pusseyfooting around treat these people like the Saudi's or Pakistanis would  , they would open fire and keep on shooting until the rioters had all dispersed . So why don't the Dutch and Belgians ?

How?

Did that police officer even allow this guy to get that close to her and her partner armed with a knife?

Cop killers don't fare well in America... and as far as I'm concerned, they ought to shoot the lot of these rioters and send their families a bill for the bullets.

Spot on FLLegal

It took 5 centuries for Egypt to become majority Muslim...Unless more people start sounding like you, it will take 5 decades for Europe to become part of the ummah...

Europe Needs to Exterminate this vermin

No more water hoses. The police need to pull out the machine guns and exterminate this cancer, i.e. this vermin.

Islam is a Satanic evil. It's "prophet" Mohammad is false, barbaric, and a pedophile. Being barbaric, like these adherants to the "Religion of Peace", they are just like their sick prophet.

We are at war, not just with "radical Islam", which is redundant, but with a fascist religious and fascist political ideology that is incompatible with the ideals we hold in the west. There is no coexistent with these people for their desire is to spread their imperialistic sick faith and force it upon all of us. Sharia law is a ticket to slavery. Time we wiped Islam out of the West and off the face of the map. If we do not, they will destroy us.
