Whistle Rage
From the desk of The Brussels Journal on Wed, 2008-04-02 19:28
A quote from the Italian press agency AKI, 2 April 2008
Swiss football referee Massimo Busacca vowed he would wear a whistle with the Swiss Cross symbol on it during of the Saudi championship on Wednesday, despite anger voiced in the Kingdom at the ‘crusader’ item. [...] Many in Saudi Arabia had called for Busacca to sport a different whistle to avoid offending Muslims.
Please offend the muslims.

If i cannot be offended by what muslims do then the muslims need to get a thicker skin or go HOME.

Any chance the day will come when Saudi Arabia builds a Christian church for its Christian foreign "guest" workers? They are the Mother Ship of Islamic intolerance of others. Of course the European dhimmis will never hold them to any standard of decent behavior. I'm hoping that the Swiss will defend Massimo Busacca.

It would be no bad thing for said "useful idiots" to familiarise themselves with the Arabic term,"Aslim Taslam".

You do know why the old king made that "plea", don't you? It looks good on paper. People all over the world will read the first few words of it, and draw the conclusion that Islam is indeed, a "peaceful religion". Liberals, of course, the "useful idiots" of Islam, will gobble it up.
It's all about appearances.

Offending Muslims, etc.

The Taliban in Afghanistan were offended by the images of Buddah, hence the destruction of the historic carvings. When they (offended Muslims) are in control, the landscape will be cleansed of all offending images, etc. After the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, while many churches were destroyed, profit entered into the minds of those "offended" and many Christian icons appeared on the illegal market. This is not just a matter of being "offended", it is a drive to remove all that THEY deem offensive. And, being "offended" can be a perpetual state of mind. I am quite sure that I have "offended" by writing this paragraph!

I recall that crosses are useful in warding off evil. Looks like they still have effect...
