It’s a Small World

A quote from Andrew Coyne at Macleans blogs (Canada), 3 June 2008
9:34 AM The [British Columbia Human Rights] tribunal enters. […]
9:36 AM Faisal Joseph up for the complainants. [...]
11:45 AM The hearing now turns to readings from various blogs I’ve never heard of: The Brussels Journal, some Catholic blog and… oh, the late Western Standard! Not obscure, just obsolete! (The mag, I mean – the website is still in business.) The Western Standard reference: a blog post by Ezra Levant, the defunct magazine’s former publisher, dated Dec. 2 2007. This is slightly surreal: he’s sitting in front of me as I write this, laptop in hand, writing about being spoken about with reference to something he’d written about… this case. This is getting so meta I’m losing track… […]
Now to the Brussels Journal, based in, why yes, Brussels. Not Brussels, New Brunswick, but Brussels, Belgium. Does the tribunal’s jurisdiction extend to Belgium, he asks? In my humble submission, it does not.
12:08 PM Joseph returns fire. The Belgium post is available “on a thing called the internet.”

Faisal Joseph is bringing in the blogs!
The Western Standard was mentioned! I was so excited I missed the names of the others. (I regret that, the blog post he's sure to mention was written after I ceased to be its publisher. Oh well.)
A quote from Ezra Levant’s blog, 3 June 2008, 12:45 PM
The Brussels Journal is the second blog. A Catholic blog was the third.
I don't know the Brussels Journal blog well; I think it's in, uh, Brussels. But why should that get in the way of a Toronto boy bringing a complaint in a B.C. tribunal?
You both "pegged" it....

A big Amen to both posts. Canada's HRC should be totally dismantled. It serves a totaltarian statist objective. When freedom is attacked, we must fight back.

Canada's HRC tribunal (and the Canadian Liberal Party), is one of those things which make me feel ashamed to be Canadian. Sadly, but thank God, the internet serves as a modern day underground for ideas.
In Canada, like other Western countries, we are witness to a caustic blend of P.C. Multiculti activism and people who know how to play identity politics. This kangaroo court has one objective-- stifle freedom of thought and debate through punishment. Nothing more than a witch hunt for those who are not liberal progressive thinkers!
If only the internet would go away.....

...Islam's thuggery wouldn't be exposed around the world in a matter of seconds.
Canada's HRC tribunal is the typical blend of Muslim fascists advancing their cause which is dismantling free speech in Western societies and their lefty appeasers assisting them at it. Sound familiar.
