Flowers (or is that Money from the EU) - the most beautiful language in the world.
The EU have co-sponsored with the Österreichischen Blumenwerbung- Austrian Flower Promotion Ltd this propaganda campaign. If the flower growers of Austria want to promote their produce, they should pay for it themselves! Cost €1,656,939 under the programme promoting the internal market!!!. Total to promote special interests- €50 million- but don't let anyone worry about such small figures.
Herbert Titz (please no laughter), the Head of the Blumenwerburg is also an important figure in the "Entente Florale" - motto- Our City Blumes (at least it does when watered with EU money). After the Entente Cordiale, Europe descended into the First World War; what is going to happen as a result of the Entente Florale?
The Brussels Journal announces its first competition! In three to four hundred words, write the statement from the European Commission justifying this ludicrous waste of tax payers money. Prize: a bunch of flowers, paid for out of our own pocket.

Every year in the Netherlands after Christmas, we are overloaded with a comparable campaign from growers. 'Christmas tree gone. Fill up the empty space with plants' It says year after year. Also brought with the EU flag.
